Description
A meal is commonly understood to mean eating and drinking at certain times of the day, often with others. The main meals in Europe are breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, meals are often served in the form of snacks. In the German dictionary of the Brothers Grimm, the term "flour" comes from the time for a feast to which people were invited. The meaning was then reduced to eating and drinking, i.e. a meal. Today, the main meal in Western culture often consists of vegetables or salad, a side dish such as potatoes, and foods containing protein such as meat, eggs, or fish.
